Peter Lowe is a highly experienced criminal barrister with over 30 years of experience and success in criminal appeals, criminal defence workand administrative law.

Peter is a graduate of the University of Sydney, Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws.

After practising as a solicitor for a number of years, Peter was called to the Bar in 1999. Peter is currently located at Pitt Street Chambers, 398 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000 (near Goulburn Street) and can be contacted to discuss your matter in confidence on 0414 796 029.

Peter has a diverse practice and a wide range of experience in both State and Commonwealth cases.

He is an experienced trial and appellate Counsel and regularly appears in the Local, District and Supreme Courts of New South Wales, and has appeared in all States and Territories of Australia in addition to the Federal Court and High Court of Australia.

Peter is currently a member of the Legal Aid NSW Specialist Barristers’ Panel for Complex Criminal Matters, and also on the Legal Aid NSW Specialist Barristers’ Panel for Criminal Appellate Matters. He is also a member of the Practice Management Committee of the New South Wales Bar Association.

Peter has particular expertise in criminal matters and has specific knowledge of the complexities of Commonwealth criminal work, white collar crime and related issues including:
